The Bensons received their appointment to the Central African Republic in 2007, after having spent a year on the Associates In Missions program in Madagascar. Benin, West Africa was officially added to their appointment in 2018. After their arrival in Benin in 2015, they developed and constructed a full-time Bible school facility in the city of Ouidah, as well as two other satellite programs using the GATS Training Program. They also continue to work with the Bible School program in the Central African Republic. In May 2024, they were appointed as Area Coordinator of Mid-West Africa, covering fourteen West African nations.
